On Gaza visit, UN urges re-opening of crossings

UN calling for re-opening of Gaza borders. Israel has imposed an inhumane siege on the Civilian population of Gaza over 2 years ago.The top United Nations humanitarian official on Tuesday, on a visit to Gaza, called for the re-opening of border crossings to alleviate the suffering of the area’s population in the wake of last year’s deadly conflict.
