INTERNATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION RETURNS FROM GAZA

An international delegation including senior European parliamentarians returned yesterday to their home countries after successfully completing a three-day visit to the Gaza Strip. The delegation led by British peer Lord Nazir Ahmed and accompanied by former UK International Development Minister Clare Short and Baroness Jenny Tongue conducted a number of visits to schools, hospitals and refugee camps in the besieged Palestinian territory.

IBB closes INTERPAL Account - URGENT ACTION NEEDED

The British charity Interpal, dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinians, has been notified by their bank, the Islamic Bank of Britain, that Lloyds TSB (their clearing bank) has given them the instruction to cease all dealings with Interpal with effect from 8 December 2008.

Israeli soldiers kidnap children in east Jerusalem

Palestinian sources reported on Sunday that Israeli soldiers and policemen kidnapped 10 Palestinian children in Al Bustan neighborhood near the Al Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem and took them to an unknown destination.

In direct violation of the Road Map, Barak approves settlement construction in the W. Bank

Israeli online daily, Haaretz, reported on Friday morning that Israel's Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, approved in recent months plans for the construction and marketing of hundreds of units in illegal West Bank settlements.

UNRWA: Gaza Strip ran out of food supplies amidst catastrophic human condition
