This is  the third convoy organised by Viva Palestina to provide much needed aid to the people of Gaza. The convoy is due to arrive on the 27th of December to mark the 1st anniversary of  the start of Operation Cast lead - Israel's assualt on Gaza which left at least 1300, mostly civilians, dead.

Israel has imposed a siege on Gaza, causing immense hardship and in certain cases, death, to the people of Gaza.

The convoy takes place after months of fundraising and planning from all over the UK.
