"Israel must stop talking and launch a personal targeted killing policy against the Hamas leaders," Mofaz told the Israeli paper Yediot Ahronot.
He added that Israeli officials should prepare a plan for the assassinations and bring it to the cabinet for approval, noting that the assassinations must include all leaders of Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip.
At a ceremony for appointing a new commander, outgoing commander of the Israeli Aza brigade Moshe Tamir described Hamas as the "fiercest enemy" he had ever encountered.
He also added that facing Hamas was a heavy burden on the shoulders of his brigade.
Meanwhile, the Hebrew radio reported Thursday that the IOF troops kidnapped 21 Palestinians in different West Bank areas, noting that the kidnappings took place in Nablus, Qalqilya, Tulkarem and Ramallah.
The Israeli kidnapping campaigns are carried out in coordination with the PA security apparatuses affiliated with PA chief Mahmoud Abbas, where they disappear and withdraw to their headquarters when the IOF troops storm any West Bank area and then they resume their political arrests against Palestinian citizens and resistance fighters after the Israeli invading troops finish their job.
