OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Sheikh Ra'ed Salah, the head of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied lands, unveiled Tuesday Israeli official documents considering the quarters surrounding the Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of Rock "public yards" in addition to other Zionist schemes against the Mosque.

In a press conference held in occupied Jerusalem, Sheikh Salah also showed other documents and maps revealing that the Israeli occupation decided officially to build a number of synagogues in the Maghareba neighborhood and an 18-meter-wide military bridge to connect the Maghareba square with the Aqsa Mosque.

This bridge will be used, he said, for the passage of Israeli military vehicles and bulldozers to destroy the Aqsa Mosque.

According to the documents, the Aqsa Mosque is referred to as the alleged temple while the Buraq Wall adjacent to the holy Mosque are referred to as the wailing wall.

The Palestinian leader also pointed out that few weeks ago the IOA buried the graves of the prophet's companions in the eastern part of the holy Mosque with the aim to turn the area into a park.

The Palestinian leader accused the UNESCO of being biased in favor of the Israeli occupation and of covering up for the Israeli violations against the Islamic historical sites in Jerusalem.
