Number of Views: 210

The best way to see Occupied Palestine is on a bicycle!
Starting in Amman on 14th August

An amazing experience cycling through towns and villages - see for yourself the impact of the wall, settlements, checkpoints and roadblocks - meet the Palestinian people and their representatives and stay with Palestinian families - find out about Israeli groups working to end the occupation - raise funds to sponsor a Medical Aid for Palestinians mobile health clinic in the West Bank.

Starting in
Amman on 14th August, we will cycle into Israel and visit unrecognised Arab villages and the towns of Haifa and Nazareth. We will then tour the Occupied West Bank from Jenin in the north, passing through Tulkarem and Qalqiliya, Nablus, Ramallah, Bil'in, Bethlehem and Hebron, finishing in Jerusalem on 31st August.

This is a tour for people to find out more about
Israel and Occupied Palestine and is open for anyone to join.
Full cycling support will be made available at all times including support vehicles and crew, and English speaking guides.

Simply raise sponsorship to cover your costs plus a contribution for the MAP mobile clinic project.

For more information see www.thepeacecycle.com or email
Sofia at cyclists@thepeacecycle.com for an information pack.

N.B.  After the ride, all participants will be welcome to join the Peace Cycle Campaign to
Europe on 7th-9th September in Brussels - a chance to tell your European Representatives what you have witnessed in Occupied Palestine and be a part of our campaign to suspend the EU-Israel Association Agreement - see website for details.
